I haven't ever used heroin (or any other of that family of drugs) but I understand that the joy you get is like an orgasm multiplied by a thousand times.

Heroin will also slowly suck the life out of junkies as they give up on the rest of their lives in pursuit of that high, until their careers, families, hygiene, and even more basic needs are abandoned and lost.

Interesting that one of the deadliest things a human can encounter is also the very thing we tend to seek: pleasure.

Not that I'm the first to make this observation.

But as the internet continues to blossom and the sanctuaries of data that we build get deeper and more intricate, we may lose ourselves in the pleasures of our ideas, images, and artificial worlds.

Not that I'm the first to make that observation either.

But DA is a particularly seductive treasure trove, in that it is nigh infinite, and the talent of the artists is such that you need never go looking for art elsewhere.

You might kill me in the end DA, but I'm having a fun trip.
